Stability isn’t found in the absence of the storm.

It is found in the way you inhabit your life.

Integrative Counselling, Hypnotherapy & Somatic Therapy in East Devon

Online & Outdoors along the Jurassic Coast

If you are struggling with anxiety, grief, or feeling disconnected from your life, talking is only part of the solution. To navigate times of uncertainty, you need more than information; you need ground—a genuine, felt sense of steadiness within yourself.

I help you step out of the constant noise of your thoughts and reconnect with the quiet, reliable reality of your body. Through gentle, supportive awareness, we focus simply on learning to safely inhabit the present moment, where the clarity you need already lives. â€‹

Together, we tend to the landscape of your current experience—be it anxiety, loss, or a form of life transition—so that you can consciously choose the self that is emerging through the shift.

One-to-one therapy

50 minutes · £60 per session

Something is asking for more than just managing symptoms. What you are carrying deserves proper attention. This is a depth-oriented space for those navigating anxiety, life transitions, grief, and the search for meaning. By incorporating hypnotherapy alongside therapeutic conversation, we can gently unpick the deeper, subconscious layers of your experience—easing the grip of persistent anxiety, deep-seated fears, or specific phobias. We work at the pace the work actually needs—which is sometimes slower than you’d like, and usually more honest than you expected.

Online & Outdoors

Alongside my online practice, I offer outdoor ecotherapy sessions in accessible, tranquil settings across East Devon. Here, we work alongside the elements, letting the open horizon and the rhythm of the natural world help us shift away from overthinking and return to the reliable reality of the body. Finding a sense of anchoring doesn't always require words.

Whether we meet online or gather in a quiet, sheltered space in nature along the Jurassic Coast, we look for the clarity you need to navigate your own evolution. Whatever brings you here, we begin exactly where you are.

Not sure if this is the right fit? Feel free to reach out for a free, brief initial phone consultation.

Hi, I'm Anna.

You’re likely here because something has shifted—or needs to. Maybe you’ve tried to make sense of it and found that understanding the "why" isn't enough to change how you feel. Perhaps you’re tired of just managing and quietly wondering what it would feel like to actually inhabit your life.

I know that threshold. In my late twenties, a health crisis forced me to stop. That period taught me that while the body is our primary vessel, our freedom lies in our perception. Over a decade of clinical practice has since deepened my trust in our ability to examine inherited beliefs and consciously choose how we live within the limitations of our reality. Self-awareness is not an accident; it is a capacity we grow into through consistent work and by tending to our existence.

I am an integrative counsellor based in East Devon, blending traditional therapy with hypnotherapy and ecotherapy. My focus is on the deeper territory of life transitions—those times when you feel caught between who you have been and who you are starting to be.
By working with both the conscious mind and the subconscious patterns that hold you back, I help you move past the constant noise of your thoughts. Whether we meet online or connect in gentle outdoor settings along the Jurassic Coast, our work focuses on finding the clarity and grounding you need to navigate your own evolution and consciously choose the life you want to live.

Finding Ground

A free taster of the nature of my practice

You have likely already tried many ways to feel better. Perhaps they helped for a while, but that underlying sense of unease—that vibration of uncertainty—remains.

In a world that feels increasingly loud and unpredictable, what is usually missing isn’t a new technique or more information. It is Ground—a felt sense of steadiness within your own vessel that doesn't depend on the outside world being "okay" before you can exhale.

My practice is rooted in the belief that while we cannot control the seasons of our lives, we can choose how we tend to them. Whether you are navigating loss, a transition, or the overwhelm of modern existence, the path forward is not found in your head.

It is found in your body. It is found in the return to your senses.

Underneath the noise of your thoughts is a "foundational freedom"—the ability to choose where you hold your attention and how you respond to the unknown.

I invite you to stop fixing, and start tending.

Tending

Rhythmic Practice for a Life Well Lived

There is a fundamental difference between fixing yourself and tending to yourself.

Most of us are skilled at the first—we manage, we cope, and we hold the vessel together until we can’t. But repair is exhausting, and it is rarely enough. Tending asks for something else: not a one-off fix, but a consistent return. It is the quiet, honest work of examining what is actually there. Like steady drops of water on a stone, this rhythmic attention has the power to shift even the most stubborn inherited patterns.

This is a four-week email cycle designed as an anchor for your week. It is not a "course" to complete, but a space for deep, persistent exploration.

Depending on the theme of the cycle, we work with different tools to help you inhabit your life more fully:

  • Creative Explorations to unpick inherited perceptions and see your world through a different lens.

  • Somatic Anchoring to move out of the noise of the mind and back into the reality of your body.

  • Contemplative Inquiry to help you examine—rather than just manage—the nuances of your daily experience.

We don’t move in a straight line; we work in cycles that mirror the complexity of a life being lived. The themes evolve as you do, covering the essential territory of Anchoring, Self-Compassion, Boundaries, Values, Transitions, and the ongoing process of Conscious Becoming.

£18 per cycle. No subscription. This is not another demand on your time. You join when you feel the need to return to yourself; you rest when you need to simply be. It is a tool for those who want to choose, cycle by cycle, how they want to inhabit the life they have been given.

Psychological Astrology

Mapping the Cycles of Transformation

When you are moving through a major transition or a loss of self, it can feel as though the ground has dissolved. You look around and realise you no longer know who you are supposed to be anymore.

Alongside traditional counselling, I work as a qualified astrologer and Human Design practitioner to bring these deep, systemic maps into our work. This is not about fate, fortune-telling, or telling you what to do. It is about understanding the "weather" of your life and the major turning points—like the Saturn Return or midlife shifts—that everyone faces but no one prepares you for.

Your chart acts as a practical map for your life, helping you:

  • Make sense of why things feel so heavy right now—showing you that your current struggles aren't a personal failure, but part of a natural, passing season.

  • Stop forcing yourself into boxes you don't fit—giving you the relief of dropping external expectations and finally trusting your own natural ways of making decisions.

  • See the horizon ahead—taking the panic out of feeling "lost" by showing you exactly where you are in the bigger cycle of your life, and how to navigate your way through it.

When you understand the actual terrain of the phase you are in, the confusion lifts. You gain the clarity and breathing room to decide exactly how you want to handle the shift, so you can step into the next chapter of your life on your own terms.
